Monthly Maintenance

As the weather heats up, your lawn’s watering needs change. Proper maintenance is the key to avoiding potentially costly repairs down the line!

The best way to keep your irrigation system in good shape is with routine maintenance. An irrigation system needs recurring inspections, cleanings, and upgrades to help catch small issues before they become bigger problems. Irrigation systems need regular maintenance to keep them working efficiently year after year.

Our Monthly Maintenance service includes six visits beginning in May and ending in October.  Each maintenance check follows a seven-step process.

  1. Checking controller for proper electrical voltage to each valve in the field
  2. Checking heads throughout the system for proper spray and rotation; adjusting as needed
  3. Adjusting controller watering times to ensure each specific area is being watered properly.
  4. Checking rain sensor for proper operation (if installed)
  5. Checking electrical valves for seepage
  6. Walking property checking for main line and lateral line breaks
  7. Checking drip lines (if installed) for proper operation
